Wampler is a small proud company that have started to make big sounds with their range of effects pedals. Their creator, Brian Wampler, a guitarist since 1981 built his first pedal in 2001 and started the company in 2004 to make them full time.

Every effect pedal that is produced by Wampler is hand-made so that each pedal produces its own unique sound. The level of customer service from Wampler is also renowned, with a 5 year warranty and 7-day return policy available on all pedals bought from Wampler. The company also runs monthly competitions to win a pedal to all subscribers on their newsletter and provide discounts to newsletter readers.

Many musicians appreciate the craftsmanship and expertise that go into the Wampler effects pedals and many professionals pay for the pedals. Wampler Effects sponsor artists but these artists don’t use Wampler because they have access to free pedals, but because of the unique tone and sound that they crave can be achieved with Wampler Effects. Wampler also work with individual artists to create their own unique effects pedals. Recently they have worked with country singer Brad Paisley to create the Paisley drive pedal.

As well as their distortion, overdrive, reverb and delay pedals, Wampler produce some other more unusual effects pedals to enhance the finer points of a sound. Their Nirvana Chorus/Vibrato pedal for example is described as allowing ‘watery spacious chorus tones’ while the Ego Compressor gives great attack without compromising compression or sustain.
