Two people with different lives cross paths in Knight & Day. The idea that they are as different as night and day is the idea behind the spin they put on the title reflecting knight instead of night. As the story continues, you begin to see that although they are different, he really does turn out to be her knight in shining armor. She is a bit reluctant to allow this, but finds herself in no position to argue.

Part of a good drama is the chase that comes with the story. You may not even know the exact reason for the chase right away, but you know it’s important enough that the bad guys want the good guys out of the picture. As time continues and their paths continue to cross, each person is lead intimately deeper into the lives each other leads. From one sisters wedding to parents that have no idea what has become of their son, the emotions start to roll as the situation gets more and more complex.

Whatever your reason, enjoy the experience, because this movie will make you feel heartfelt emotion and laugh at the same time. It’s easy to find yourself relating to certain situations as well.

The surroundings throughout this movie show the importance of showing change at every turn. Finding yourself in a warehouse and then waking up on a deserted island is not typical for many people. In order to achieve this, many creative people helped imagine the best scene and designed it to become reality. Being on the run and requiring resources means a lot of creativity is necessary. Putting together a puzzle where the pieces need to fit in the end appears to be the ultimate challenge.

The bad guys in this movie are so devious and casual that it makes you forget they are the bad guys. Knowing how to run away from a bullet to shoot at a moving target, you find yourself almost rooting for them to be successful.

The title Knight & Day may not say enough to describe the movie, but it does say enough to peak your interest. Many women will want to see the apparent love story that will ensue and men will want to see how many guys or cars get blown up. It’s a good thing this movie has both of those to keep the interest of a larger audience.
