Brad Pitt is one actor who always seems to choose amazing roles. Practically every movie he is in does well, both with critics and audiences alike. As a result, it comes as no surprise that the majority of his films tend to do well at the box office and are usually in the discussion come awards season.

The following are my five favorite movies starring Brad Pitt.

If you like science fiction movies, then one amazing film you have to see is Twelve Monkeys. Pitt plays a wealthy lunatic in this time traveling psychological thriller, and does quite a convincing job. This movie also stars Bruce Willis.

One movie that has to be mentioned when discussing Brad Pitt films is Se7en. Pitt stars as up and coming detective David Mills on the hunt of a twisted yet brilliant serial killer who chooses his victims based on the seven deadly sins.

Fight Club is probably one of my top 15 favorite movies of all time. Edward Norton and Brad Pitt star in this awesome movie, which also happened to be directed by David Fincher. If you have never seen Fight Club, move it to the top of your list.

One amazing movie that I want to mention is True Romance. Pitt was hardly the focal point in this Quentin Tarantino-written film; he played a stoner who never leaves the couch. But this still manages to be one of my favorite roles of his.

One other great movie starring Brad Pitt is Ocean’s Eleven. It is tough to have a bad movie when the cast is as stacked as this first installment in the Danny Ocean franchise. Other notables in this film include George Clooney, Matt Damon, Julia Roberts and Casey Affleck.
