In my opinion, and the opinions of the majority of movie fans, one of the greats actors of all time is, without a doubt, Dustin Hoffman. Ever since his breakout role in 1967′s The Graduate, Hoffman has been one of the biggest stars in Hollywood.

While everyone has their own favorites, this article will list my top 5 favorite Dustin Hoffman movies.

One movie that starred Dustin Hoffman that I absolutely loved was I Heart Huckabees. This is an incredibly bizarre film, labeled as an existential film about nothing. This is a light hearted film that also stars Mark Wahlberg, Jude Law and Lilly Tomlin.

One movie that starred Dustin Hoffman which I absolutely loved was Runaway Jury. I normally do not like films regarding judicial subject manner, but this is just a great film. This movie also stars Racheil Weisz, Gene Hackman and John Cusack.

If you are going to make a list of Hoffman films, one movie that must be mentioned is Rain Man. If there was ever a role deserving of the Academy Award for Best Actor In A Leading Role, it was the role of Charlie Babbit in Rain Man.

On a more comedic note, one role that I loved Hoffman in was Meet The Fockers (aka Meet The Parents 2). Hoffman plays Ben Stiller’s father in this follow up to the smash hit Meet The Parents. My expectations are not too high for the third installment.

One film that I can highly recommend is Runaway Jury. Hoffman stars as a hard working, honest lawyer who takes on a firearms company whose guns were used in the killing of the defendant’s husband. Meanwhile, the jury is being tampered to affect the outcome.

While I wanted to keep this list to five films, one other movie that I feel is worthy of mentioning is Death Of A Salesman. This was a made for TV movie, but Hoffman still delivers a memorable performance.
