The Classic Album Called Rumours By Fleetwood Mac
In recent years, vinyl records have begun making a comeback when it comes to audio entertainment. Many new vinyl playing machines have been made that combine classic designs with cutting-edge technology, like the Crosley record player. It is these machines that people use these days to play old, classic vinyl records, like “Rumours” of the band Fleetwood Mac.
The band Fleetwood Mac is regarded as one of the most popular an influential bands in the history of modern music. American and British musicians Peter Green, Mick Fleetwood, and John McVie founded Fleetwood Mac in 1967. In its early years, Fleetwood Mac found much success and popularity, however, when Peter Green departed from the band, it seemed like the success would be short lived.
Almost everyone, both fans and critics, felt that Fleetwood Mac was finished. However, they were proven wrong when Fleetwood, McVie, then new member Stevie Nicks, and the rest of Fleetwood Mac, surged ahead. The problems and troubles they encountered during this difficult time were used by the band to create what would be the band’s most popular album, and one of the most successful records in the music industry, “Rumours”.
“Rumours” is highly popular to both fans and critics alike because it symbolizes the triumph of hard work and creativity against impending disaster. The use of their past problems and issues as fuel to for the creative fire proved to be very popular for fans. And it is this creative fire that allowed Fleetwood Mack to create some of the most memorable songs of their career.
Songs like “Second Hand News”, “Dreams”, and “Go Your Own Way” make up “Rumours”, and all of these songs have become very popular. These songs, and the others found in “Rumours”, have made Fleetwood Mac the famed and loved band they are today. In fact, the album and songs are so timeless that even today younger fans can still enjoy the music of what was arguably Fleetwood Mac’s best work.
It’s much easier to listen to Fleetwood Mac’s classic music today thanks to modern digital formats. In fact, it is now even possible to listen to Fleetwood Mac’s “Rumours” underwater, thanks to many waterproof MP3 players available!
