Should You Bother Seeing the New Scuba Diving Thriller?
The 3-D action-thriller Sanctum follows a team of underwater cave divers on a treacherous expedition to the largest, most beautiful and least accessible cave system on Earth. Whenever a tropical storm forces them deep into the caverns, they have to fight raging water, deadly terrain and creeping panic because they search for an unknown escape route to the sea.
Master diver Frank McGuire has explored the South Pacific’s Esa-ala Caves for months. But when his exit is stop in a flash flood, Frank’s team-including 17-year-old son Josh and financier Carl Hurley have to radically alter plans.
With dwindling supplies, the crew must navigate an underwater labyrinth to really make it out. Soon, they’re confronted with the unavoidable question: Can they survive, or do they really be trapped forever? So one question that people keep asking is when much a film cost to create…and the answer is…$30,000,000! Yup that’s a great deal, but still pretty small compared to other James Cameron movies such as Avatar and others. Still 30 million bucks and James Cameron should make for an excellent movie!
