If you don’t know who Jack the Ripper was, then here is a brief introduction about him. Jack the Ripper was a serial killer, who got famous because of the way he killed 5 women in London in year 1888. The women he murdered were prostitutes and he mutilated their bodies. However, it is now believed that his identity has been revealed.

Mei Trow, a historian claims that he has discovered the identity of Jack the Ripper by using modern police forensic methods which includes geographical and psychological profiling. He concluded that Jack the Ripper was actually a man named as Robert Mann who was a morgue worker in Whitechapel area where murders took place.

After two years of extensive work, Trow found out the identity of Jack the Ripper. His research stemmed from the information that he got from FBI examination of the Ripper case in 1988 which had produced a comprehensive criminal personality profile. FBI established that Jack was a white male, who belonged to the lower class and had a bad family background.

Jack was an unskilled person who used to do small jobs but had knowledge about human anatomy like butcher, mortuary or medical assistant. His prolonged period of time without human interaction made him socially unfit, since Jack was from a troubled family his father was not around mostly for his upbringing and Jack in his childhood worked in a workhouse.

Trow wanted to explore and he wanted to know more about the person who used to wear hat, coat and carried a knife, he found out that Jack was an ordinary guy. Trow also brought forward a surprising theory that Jack may have killed 2 more women after 5 women were confirmed as his work of brutality.

The bodies of Polly Nichols and Annie Chapman (victims of Jack) along with dead bodies of other two women were taken by police to Whitechapel mortuary where Jack used to work. Robert Mann (Jack the Ripper) was then called by the police to be the witness and confirm the reason of death of Polly Nichols but later on police unaccredited Robert’s testimony by stating that Robert’s memory has been affected by his fits, which is why it’s unreliable.

Another reason that made Trow suspect Robert Mann as Jack the Ripper was that he undressed Polly’s body with his assistant, despite being under strict instructions from Inspector Spratling to not touch the body and Trow suspects that this was an opportunity for Robert to admire his creation Trow’s work is the latest in a long line of theories about who Jack the Ripper was.
