How People were Affected by the Death of Michael Jackson
Only the whisper of his name and people automatically smile because they know hims. Michael Jackson was called The King of Pop, and he is one of the most recognizable celebrities in pop culture. Even if growing up, you did not get exposed to the music of the Jackson 5, “Thriller,” or “Billie Jean,” it would be hard to find anyone who cannot easily recognize his music.
The younger generation may not have had a strong connection with Michael Jackson but every adult knows about him. June 25 was a sad day for his fans. They were heartbroken because that was the day Michael Jackson passed away.
The death of Michael Jackson was a tremendous event in Los Angeles, California. Experts estimate that twenty thousand people traveled to Los Angeles to go to his funeral on July fifth. Family and friends spoke on stage and memorialized about their beloved brother, son, and friend.
Celebrities like Usher, Queen Latifah, Stevie Wonder, and John Mayer were a part of his funeral. His 11-year-old daughter Paris broke the heart of America with her tears. She broke down as she told the crowd how much she adored her dad.
A year after his death, devout Michael Jackson fans are still upset about the loss. There are many issues from his family that have not been handled. There are issues about his last moments alive and about his state of health.
Although those questions remain open, fans and family assemble yearly on the anniversary of the death of the King of Pop to honor him. Any profits that may come from the Forever Michael concert will always go to the Jackson Family Foundation. The celebration was planned to honor the humanitarian efforts all over the world that Michael Jackson was involved with.
Some people maintain that the devotees of Michael Jackson hero worship him. Other observers think that people have a need to worship someone or something.
Whether it is hero-worship or being genetically programmed to be attracted to celebrities, the fans of Michael Jackson are not going to quickly forget his legacy.
