There is certainly a bit of a problem in learning a song for guitar that is long and difficult. Keep in mind that you can get it done if you divide the song into smaller parts and learn the little pieces first. For example: start with solitary measures, and master them. Then you will increase your knowledge up from there to 2, 4 then 8 measures on down the line.

Whenever you are trying and incorporate flow as you play, you will want to become good at listening for it. Meaning you will need to be able to appreciate the overall connotation of what you’re mastering. Then you will mingle the various notes, throughout the phrase. After you have started to interpret the phrase and are able to give it some sense in its bigger milieu, then apply the meaning to the phrase you have interpreted.

After you have this covered, you will be amazed at how advanced guitar lessonsare able to award to you flow basically through your appreciation of the music alone. You will need to zero in on the present chord, with its scale, and then the following chord and scale, and study how to maneuver between them. Once you have this covered, you will then be ready for more advanced lessons.
