A College Kid’s Cheat Sheet To October’s All Around Television Series
This article will discuss the phenomenon that is television in the fall. There are way too many shows for the average person to get through in a given week. It is truly the only time of year that I find myself having to catch up on my TV watching. I’m not sure if that’s a good thing, but hey, it is what it is.
So what are the best shows on tv during the fall? Here are some shows that I have on my rotation.
One show that definitely makes my list is Dexter. This show stars Michael C. Hall as a serial killer who works as a blood spatter analyst in the Miami Metro police department, and hunts down murderers who slip through the cracks. It is an incredibly addicting show.
When it comes to comedies, it is hard to get a show better than South Park. Sure, they constantly push the button, but is there any show besides CNN broadcasts that is as up to date on current events as South Park? I think not.
A new show that I have found myself loving is The League. Being in a fantasy football league definitely is one of the reasons why I like this show (about a fantasy football league), but the writing is often brilliant, even if the humor is male oriented.
The Office may not be as funny as it used to be, but it is definitely still worth watching. Until Steve Carrell walks away, I’ll watch the Dunder Mifflin crew down in Scranton, PA.
Finally, Dancing With The Stars is the last show I will mention. This show is my compromise with the wife, but I have to admit, it is rather enjoyable.
As it stands, these are my favorite shows on television. Curb Your Enthusiasm reruns are never a bad choice either.
